Michael Rossi

Michael E. Rossi, known to most as Mike, 73, passed away on March 3, 2025 at the VA in Martinez with his family by his side.

Born on March 20, 1951, Mike grew up in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He attended Comly and St. Christopher’s grade schools before graduating from Cardinal Dougherty High School. Following his education, he served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War.

Mike was known for his sense of humor. He loved watching TV, movies as well as both Bay Area and Philadelphia sports. He was thrilled to watch the Philadelphia Eagles’ Super Bowl victory this year. He loved strong coffee and loud music, and he always had a story to tell.

Mike is survived by his wife, Antoinette; his children Michael, Sean, Casey, Mary Kate, Cecilia, Maggie, and Julie; his grandchildren Nicholas and Charlie. He also leaves behind his younger siblings Skip, Julie, and Mary. He was preceded in death by his parents, Michael and Kathleen, as well as his loving Aunt Marie.

A celebration of Mike’s life will be held on March 29, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Point Pinole Regional Shoreline where Mike loved to fish.
