Michael Pemberton
Michael Bryron Pemberton, 75, of Jefferson City, Missouri, Passed away on Friday, November 7, 2025.
He was born on November 16, 1949 to the late Fred and Ruby Jane (McBride) Pemberton.
Mike was a 1967 graduate of Fulton Highschool, afterwards going to North East Missouri State and obtaining his bachelors degree.
Michael dedicated his life to his family, his profession, and the things he loved most. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend whose kindness, integrity, and sense of humor touched everyone who knew him.
A distinguished member of the American Society of Clinical Pathologists, he spent his career advancing the field of medicine with deep dedication and compassion. His colleagues admired his professionalism and his commitment to excellence in all that he did.
Outside of his professional life, Michael found great joy in playing golf and landscaping. Whether perfecting his swing on the course or tending to his lawn at home, he found peace and satisfaction in the beauty of nature and the camaraderie of friends.
A faithful member of St. James Methodist Church, Michael lived his faith through service, humility, and love for his community. His church family brought him great joy and spiritual fulfillment.
Michael is survived by his loving wife; Peggy Pemberton, Son; Brandon Pemberton, Daughters; Candace Pemberton, Shawna Terry (Michael), Sister-In- Law; Jan Sandner, Grandchildren; Cheyanne Willis, Trae Pemberton (Nikki), Jaden Terry, and Greatgrandchildren; Penelope Pemberton, Halle Pemberton, and Nieces and Nephews.
He is preceded in death by Brothers; Don Sandner, Gary Sandner, and Ron Alexander.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy can be made to American Cancer Society, or St. Judes Children Hospital
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 15, 2025 from 12:00pm to 1:00pm at Callaway Christian Church with a Funeral to follow at 1:00pm and Burial after.
