Michael Goff

Michael “Teddy” Goff, age 69, of Hampton, Tennessee passed away on Monday, August 11, 2025 at the Sycamore Shoals Hospital in Elizabethton. Teddy was born in Johnson City, Tennessee on July 13, 1956 to the late Ted and Pauline (Brown) Goff. In addition to his parents, Teddy was also preceded in death by his wife, Julia Miller Goff in 2016; and a brother, Kenneth Goff.

Teddy had worked at Matheson Machining in Elizabethton as a precision machinist for over 40 years. He enjoyed Nascar racing, fishing and car mechanics.

Those left to remember Teddy include his son, Dustin Goff of the home; and two brothers, Kevin Goff of Florida and Dereck Goff of Oakridge, Tennessee.

In accordance to Teddy’s wishes he will be cremated and no formal services are planned.
