Michael Fry

Michael D. Fry, age 62, of Mount Vernon, passed away on Monday, June 23, 2025, at The Kobacker House in Columbus.

He was born on February 20, 1963, in Ashland, Ohio to the late Earl E. and Patty A. (Sells) Fry.

Mike first and foremost loved the Lord. He was a devoted husband to his best friend, loyal to his family, and adored his grandchildren. He would help anyone who would ask. Mike loved the outdoors and always had his hands in a project while dreaming about the next.

Mike is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Wendy (Payne) Fry; his daughter, Emily Fry and son and daughter-in-law, Nathan and Malary Fry; three grandchildren, Tucker, Raelynn, and Thatcher; brothers, Stan Fry and Bill (Deb) Fry; along with two sisters, Peggy (Jeremy) Wise and Nancy (Sam) Tripi.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Steve Fry.

Visitation will be held on Monday, June 30, 2025, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Snyder Funeral Home – Lasater Chapel, 11337 Upper Gilchrist Rd. in Mount Vernon. Where a celebration of life service will follow at 6:00 p.m.
