Mary Weeden
WEEDEN, Mary – of Davison, Michigan, age 79, passed away on October 13, 2025 at McLaren Hospital, Flint. A Funeral Service will be held at 11 AM Saturday, October 18, 2025 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 706 W. Flint Street, Davison, MI 48423; Pastor Bob Geisler officiating. Interment will take place following the service at Meadowview Memorial Gardens. The family will receive visitors 4-7 PM Friday, October 17, 2025 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Road, Davison, MI 48423. There will be one hour of visitation prior to the service at the church.
Mary was born in Pontiac, MI on May 22, 1946, daughter of the late Arnold and Agnes (Wixom) Paulsen. She married James V. Weeden on August 17, 1985 at Trinity Lutheran Church. Mary taught special education at Durrant Turri Mott (DTM) in room 76 for over 30 years. She was a Master Gardener, who loved to play in the dirt. Mary was member of the Idiot Girl’s Adventure Club, those who know, know. She was member of Trinity Lutheran Church and played the organ for many years.
Mary is survived by her loving husband James, children, Christy Tafoya, Dan (Becky) Weeden, Shelley (Don) Hatfield, Sharri (Don) Wirt and Shani (Jeff Lundy) Weeden; grandchildren, Alexis, Adam, Sophia, Danny, Mackenzie, Madison, Hailey, Noah, Phoebe, Eli, Joey, Jimmie and John; great grandchildren, Wren and Addison; brother, Marty (Wendy) Paulsen; niece, Bridget; nephew, Marty and many other loving family members and friends. She was preceded in death by grandson, Christopher Allen Gruno and granddaughter Chloe Wirt.
