Mary Tidwell

Mary Margaret (Muller) Tidwell, age 66, of Martha, Oklahoma, peacefully ran into the arms of Jesus on

July 21, 2025, after a courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by her loving family.

Mary was born on October 29, 1958, in Ardmore, Oklahoma, to Edwin George and Alma Cleo

(Guthrie) Muller. A devoted wife, mother, Meme, and friend, Mary lived a life full of compassion, faith,

and service to others.

Mary attended and graduated from Wilson Public Schools in 1976. Soon after, Mary went on to attend

Murray State College for a few years, later leaving to begin her journey as a wife and a mother. She

loved her new roles. She was active in her kid’s lives, attending every event and always cheering them

on in anything they did. She found joy in cooking, sewing, Christmas, and all things grandkids. Her

most favorite title of all was Meme. Mary was also deeply involved in her church, Sunday school, and

community. Mary touched so many lives working in the Davis school system, Hale’s Funeral Home,

Farm Bureau and Fowler Agency. Mary was known for her warm heart, endless patience, and amazing

cooking. She touched the lives of countless friends and colleagues throughout her life.

She is survived by her husband, Rodney Wayne Tidwell of Martha, OK; her children, Jeana Marie

Reece and husband, Shannon, of Farris, OK, John Blake Jackson and wife, Amber, of Martha, OK, and

Jordan Le Jackson of Martha, OK; four grandchildren, Rylee Nicole Jackson, Raynee Cheyenne Reece,

Gunner Blake Jackson, and Reegan Dakoda Reece; her five siblings, Richard Muller and wife, Ning,

Philip Muller and wife, LaVerne, Joe Muller and wife, Dana, Paul Muller and wife, Roxie, and Mark

Muller and wife, Cindy; brother-in-law, Dale Bates; and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Edwin George and Alma Cleo Muller, her sister, Annabelle

Bates, and a niece, Kimberly Bates.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 7:00 PM Wednesday, July 23, 2025, at the Lowell-Tims

Funeral Home. A celebration of Mary’s life will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, July 24, 2025, at the

Lowell-Tims Funeral Home Chapel in Altus, Oklahoma with Rev. Kevin Baker officiating. Burial will

follow at 3:30 PM at the Rose Hill Cemetery in Ardmore, Oklahoma under the care of the Lowell-Tims

Funeral Home and Crematory.

Mary’s legacy of kindness, wisdom, and strength will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved

her.
