Mary Stutes

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm Monday, June 23, 2025 at Woodlawn Cemetery in Crowley for Mary Dugan Stutes, age 86, who passed away on Saturday, June 21, 2025 at her residence in Crowley.

Rev. Jonathan Janise, pastor of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Crowley, will be officiating the services. Her service will be graveside in Woodlawn Cemetery.

Mary was a native and lifelong resident of Crowley. She enjoyed cooking for her family and friends. She also cherished the time spent fishing with her husband. Mary once owned a ceramics shop, which also remained a hobby of hers. She will be deeply missed by her loved ones.

She is survived by her two sons, Christopher Stutes and wife, Jade, and Gerald Stutes and wife, Ivon, both of Crowley; two grandchildren, Sarah Milton and husband, Bradley, and Bethany Credeur and husband, Shawn, both of Crowley; and four great grandchildren, Caroline Milton, Madison Milton, Juliana Credeur and Peyton Credeur.

Mary is preceded by her husband, Wallace Alvin Stutes; her parents, William Earl Dugan and the former Sarah Cagnina; one sister, Geralyn Fontenot; and one brother, Robert Dugan.
