Clarksdale, Missouri….Mary Lorene Coldwell, age 87, was born June 6, 1938 in Stet, Missouri the daughter of Claude Martin and Mary Agnes (Parks) Clemens and passed away September 14, 2025.

Mary and James Coldwell were united in marriage on March 16, 1979 in Hamilton, Missouri.  Mary loved her family very much and was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.  Mary and James were faithful members of Clarksdale United Methodist Church until its closing.  She had a passion for her flower gardens, taking care of baby animals on the farm, and was a avid fisherman.

Mary is preceded in death by her parents; son, Terry Gene Holcomb; brothers, Estel Martin, Edward Lee, Norman Ray, and Ernest Wayne Clemens; sisters, Ethel May Harris, Agnes Faye Bomenberger, and Willa Lee Huskisson.

Survivors include her husband James of 46 years; children, Russell Wayne Holcomb, Dennis Dean Holcomb, Gary Lynn and wife Lisa Holcomb, Raymond Lee Holcomb; sister-in law, Virginia Armstrong and brother-in-law, Bob Coldwell; nine grandchildren; and fifteen great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be 2 P.M. Wednesday, September 17, 2025 at Turner Family Funeral Home of Stewartsville with burial following at Pleasant Grove Cemetery.
