Jane Isham went home to be with the Lord from her home in Hampton on Monday, August 18, 2025 at the age of 82. Jane was born in Hampton to the late Ray and Hazel Smith White. In addition to her parents, Jane was also preceded in death by her brother, Tom White and his wife Nancy; and three sisters, Shirley Jo Hicks, Sue McQueen and Sallie Deloach.
Jane retired from Citizens Bank in Hampton where she was the assistant manager. Jane always made friends easily and everyone that banked at Citizens could always count on Jane to be helpful and flash her beautiful smile. Jane had a way of making people feel loved and important, she was the absolute best at her job. Jane also was a very active member of Little Milligan Baptist Church. Her family was so very special to her and she loved spending every moment she could with them.
Those left to cherish Jane’s memory include her beloved husband, Wally Isham of the home; her sister and brother-in-law, Earlene and George Theilacker of San Diego, CA; her nephew, Thomas White and wife Michelle of Elizabethton; her niece, Melissa Carr and husband Mark of Knoxville; and her grand niece, Charity.
A celebration graveside service for Jane will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Sunday, August 24, 2025 in the White Family Cemetery, 178 Fish Springs Road, Hampton, Tennessee with Pastor Sammy Icenhour officiating. Those wishing to attend the graveside service are asked to meet at the cemetery at 1:45 PM on Sunday.
