Mary Bommel

Loving wife, mother, friend, daughter and sister. Mary Bommel leaves behind her husband of 40 years, Darrell, and her 34 year old daughter Samantha. She was loved by many all across the world. She had an incredible laugh and was an avid reader. She loved medieval history and a good political debate. Mary dedicated most of her life to the freight industry with ABF until she retired in 2003. Mary was born in Alexandria, Virginia to Patricia and Charlie Stuckey. She was the oldest of three and is also survived by her sister, Linda of El Cajon and Ralph of West Point, Utah. Mary moved to Chula Vista in the 70’s and attended Hilltop High School after moving all around the world with her family. She lived in New Zealand, Venezuela, and Mexico. Mary also loved to write and hoped to become a published writer before her death. She loved music and would frequently sing in the living room. She also loved hummingbirds and always had a feeder out for them.
