Martin Melton

Martin Derrick Melton, 72 of Paynes Community, South of Charleston, passed away unexpectedly at his home Monday, August 11,2025.

Marty is survived by his two children, Gwen Melton of Batesville, MS and Bill Melton of Macon, GA. A sister, Suzanne Fikes of Brandon, MS, and a host of nieces, nephews, and close friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Maudine McNeer and a brother, Ronald Melton.

A Memorial will be held at a later time.
