Martha Dugan
Martha Anne Dugan, 82 years old, of White Bluff, TN, passed away on August 14, 2025, at TriStar Horizon Medical Center.
She was born, July 27, 1943, to the late Cordie Bell Edwards and Leona Marie (Adcock) England.
Martha was the matriarch of a family that stood as a testament to her boundless love. She is survived by her children, Kevin (Sharon) Dugan and Kimberly Hollis; grandchildren, Kristin Hollis, Dustin Hollis, Jeremy Hollis, Seth Hollis, Karlee Dugan, Katlyn Dugan, and Sky Carver; ten great-grandchildren; siblings, Norman (Betty) Edwards, Mary (Billy) Swaw, and Jackie (Addie) Edwards, as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, and step-father, Jesse Edwards; she is preceded in death by her cherished husband of 62 years, James Elbert Dugan; her dear son, James Keith Dugan; and her siblings, Jean Hickman and Sonny Edwards.
Martha was a determined, giving, strong lady, with a selfless soul. She found solace in bird watching while seated on her swing, a pastime that brought her peace. In the kitchen she was an expert at anything desserts, from her chocolate and pumpkin pies to the Christmas candy that everyone eagerly awaited each year. Martha’s favorite drink, a Coca Cola Classic, was a sweet reflection of her classic charm and timeless grace. She also enjoyed reading and solitaire. She was a savvy shopper, especially at Kroger, where she was a familiar face, always ready with a coupon for every purchase. But above all, Martha’s most cherished pastime was loving on and spoiling her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Their laughter was the music of her life.
Visitation and Funeral services will be at Dickson Funeral Home & Cremation Center. Visitation will family will be Monday, August 18, 2025, from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M.; and will resume on Tuesday, August 19, 2025, at 10:00 A.M. until 2:00 P.M. Funeral services will be in the Chapel of Dickson Funeral Home & Cremation Center at 2:00 P.M. with Bro. Norman Edwards officiating.
