Martha Delgado
Martha Jean Delgado, 44, beloved wife of Armando Delgado, passed away on Friday, July 25, 2025, at the University of Kentucky Medical Center. Born on June 27, 1981, in Lexington, Kentucky, she was the daughter of Sharon Marlene King and the late Harvey Kenneth King.
Martha was a devoted employee of Walmart, known for her warm heart, dependable spirit, and unwavering love for her family.
She found joy in life’s simple moments and was always ready with a kind word or helping hand.
She especially adored her grandchildren—Leanna Jean, Landyn McKyle Dean, Hayden Thomas Banks, and Andre Delgado—who brought immense light to her life. Though she wasn’t able to see them just before her passing, her love for them remains undeniable. In beautiful and comforting ways, she has already begun to appear in their dreams and thoughts, continuing to surround them with her presence and love.
She is survived by her loving husband, Armando Delgado, and her mother, Sharon Marlene King; her four children, Jacinda King, Andre Delgado, Armando Delgado, and Anna Delgado; and her sisters, Debbie Pennington and Pollie Castro, along with extended family members and friends who will deeply miss her.
In accordance with Martha’s wishes, cremation has taken place.
Family will receive friends from 12:00PM, Wednesday, July 30, 2025 at Scobee Funeral Home with a service starting at 1:00PM.
