Marlene Helm
Marlene passed away unexpectedly on August 8th, 2025 at her home in Waterloo, Ontario at the age of 74. Predeceased by her parents Cyril and Caroline (Voll).
She is survived by her loving sister Judy Roberge (Roland) and her brother Dennis Helm (John). Marlene will be missed by nephews Philip Rosien and Derek Rosien (Lindsay) as well as her many long-term friends who she valued and cherished.
Marlene thoroughly enjoyed social engagements with family and friends. She had a number of very strong and lasting friendships that have endured for many decades. Marlene was very committed to her many years volunteering with Best Friends (Big Brothers Big Sisters of Waterloo Region) and she valued the many friendships that developed. Most recently, her new found “family” at Luther Village On The Park greatly added to her happiness and well-being….
Cremation has taken place. A private family interment will take place at a later date at Woodland Cemetery, Kitchener.
