Marianne DiPalma

Marianne DiPalma, 90, a longtime Port Chester resident, died Dec. 27, 2024. Mrs. DiPalma was born January 19, 1934 in Jackson Heights, N.Y. to Andrew and Margaret Karcz.

She was educated in Queens, N.Y and graduated from Catholic high school in 1952. She graduated from secretarial school in New York City.

She was employed as a secretary for many years for various firms in New York City and Westchester. In 1958, she met Donald DiPalma of Port Chester, N.Y., and on July 1, 1961, they were married at Saint Joan of Arc Church in Jackson Heights, N.Y.

She was a parishioner at the Parish of St. John Bosco (Corpus Christi Church) in Port Chester. Mrs. DiPalma will be remembered for her love and dedication to her family and friends.

She is survived by her son John DiPalma, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was predeceased by her husband Donald and two brothers Andrew and Paul. Calling hours are Thursday, January 2, 2025 from 4 to 7 PM at Joseph Tutera Funeral Home, 121 South Regent St., Port Chester.

Funeral Mass on Friday, January 3, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at St. John Bosco Parish (Corpus Christi), 136 South Regent St., Port Chester.

Christian Burial will follow at Greenwood Union Cemetery in Rye.
