Marisa Perez, 64, passed away on October 13, 2025, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was the beloved wife of Antonio Perez, and a devoted mother to her three children. Marisa was a proud grandmother to seven grandchildren and a joyful great-grandmother to four great-grandbabies who lovingly called her “Nana.”

Marisa was born on January 5, 1961, in Obregón, Sonora, Mexico, to Manuel Coronel Beltrán and Edwiges Beltrán Medina. She built a life centered on love, faith, and quiet strength. Marisa was more than a mother, grandmother, sister, and friend — she was the heart of her family. Loud, loving, and unforgettable, she was the life of every party. Her laugh could fill a room, and her energy was impossible to ignore. She was spontaneous, hilarious, and full of love. She lived loud, loved hard, and leaves us with memories full of laughter and light.

Though her absence leaves an unfillable space, Marisa’s warmth, spirit, and joy will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
