Margaret “Marge” Trimberger
Margaret “Marge” Trimberger, age 93, of Plymouth, WI, passed away peacefully on July 12, 2025 with her family by her side at Cedar Bay in Elkhart Lake, where she has been a resident for the last couple years.
She was born on June 14, 1932 in Sheboygan County, WI, a daughter of the late Francis and Beatrice (Kind) Gahagan.
On January 20, 1951, she married Gordon “Gordie” Trimberger. He preceded her in death on May 14, 2019.
Marge was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Plymouth. Early on in her life she served on the Christian Women for Church and enjoyed golfing and bowling. Marge also loved to play cards, Bingo, doing crafts, cooking and watching the Packers and Brewers. She also spent many winters snowmobiling with Gordie, before they started spending winters in Arizona. Marge loved when family and friends visited in Arizona and in Wisconsin, her family was everything to her.
She is survived by her three children, Thomas (Barbara) Trimberger, Steven (Theresa) Trimberger, and Mary (Gary) Raeder; 8 Grandchildren: Erik Trimberger (special friend Christine Ramos), Joel (Nichole) Trimberger, Nicole (Jon) Erlien, Jennifer (Ty) Weinhold, Amanda (Matthew) Biertzer, Holly (Tim McKinnon) Raeder, and Marisa (Will Gysi) Raeder and Elizabeth (Matt) Johnson; 16 Great grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; two sisters, Kathy Balcom and Mary (Melvin) Ploeckelman; sister-in-law, Carol Gahagan; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Marge was preceded in death by her husband, Gordie; parents; Father and Mother-in-law, Raymond and Marie Trimberger; Step father-in-law, Leo Klaeser; brothers, Eugene, Donald, Robert, and Charles Gahagan; and sister, Barbara Fisher; and sister-in-law, Kathleen Trimberger.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 21, 2025, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Plymouth from 3:30PM – 5:30PM; with a Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 5:30PM. Father Subi Thomas will officiate. Cremation will take place following Mass and a private inurnment will be held at St. John the Baptist Catholic Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in Marge’s name.
