Maj-Britt Coulter, born on May 18, 1939, in Sweden, passed away peacefully on November 17, 2025, at the age of 86, at the Carolina Village Medical Center in Hendersonville, NC.

Maj-Britt was a devoted and loving wife to her late husband, John Coulter, with whom she shared many years of happiness and partnership. Together, they owned and operated successful bicycle shops, where they worked side by side, building a life filled with love and dedication.

A woman of deep faith, Maj-Britt was an active member of the Apple Valley Church of God, where she found solace and community. Her love for God was evident in all aspects of her life, and she expressed this devotion through her remarkable talent on the keyboard and accordion, bringing joy and inspiration to those around her.

Maj-Britt was preceded in death by her beloved husband, John Coulter; her parents, Emanuel and Ingegard Jonsson; and her brothers, Stig and Ake. She leaves behind a family who cherished her dearly, including her nephews, Kent Emanuelsson, Christer Andre, Doug, Dean, and David Coulter; her nieces, Michele Dicks, Ulla Emanuelson, Cissi Olsson, and Lena Emanuelson Svedberg; her sister-in-law, Aina-Stina Emanuelsson along with and All her loving family in Ireland and Canada.

A private celebration of Maj-Britt’s life will be held to honor her memory and the profound impact she had on those who knew and loved her.

Maj-Britt will be remembered for her warmth, her unwavering faith, and her musical gifts that touched the hearts of many. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who were fortunate enough to have known her.
