Mahendra Bisen

Mahendra Bisen passed away peacefully on Friday, June 20, 2025. He is survived by his beloved wife Meera, to whom he was married for 43 years; his son Maneesh and daughter-in-law Jina; his daughter Monika and son-in-law Daniel; and his cherished grandchildren Neil, Maya, and Riyaan.

Mahendra was born in Sapahi, Mariahu, Jaunpur, Uttar Pradesh, India. He was one of ten siblings, with four brothers and five sisters, and leaves behind a large extended family of nieces and nephews who deeply loved and admired him.

He spent many years in Brighton, NY, where he built a life grounded in family, hard work, and laughter. He retired from Sentry Safe after a long and fulfilling career, and in retirement found even more joy in the simple pleasures of life—especially spending time with his grandchildren and extended family.

There was nothing Mahendra loved more than being surrounded by those he loved. Whether at a family gathering, festival, or a small visit at home, he had an uncanny ability to bring people together. His wit was quick, his smile infectious, and his presence filled every room with light and laughter. He was the heart of every party, the one who made everyone feel like family.

Mahendra’s legacy is one of deep love, strong family bonds, and endless joy. He carried with him a spirit of generosity, kindness, and humility that will continue to inspire those who knew him. His family will forever treasure his jokes, his stories, and the way he made everyone feel special.
