Lyon Sheriff’s Office asks for public’s help in locating runaway Dayton teen

The Lyon County Sheriff’s Office on Saturday has asked for the public’s help in locating a Dayton runaway teen.
Kaydeelynn Beattie, 15, left her residence in Dayton on Saturday, Dec. 21, 2024. She left a note for her guardians that she was going to be possibly headed to Utah, according to LCSO in a news release. She is 5 feet 2 inches, 109 pounds with brown eyes and brown hair. She has fair skin with freckles.
It is unknown if she left on foot, or if someone picked her up. Kaydee was last seen wearing black pants and a black hoodie.
She is possibly carrying a black back pack, a black handbag and/or a blue shopping bag with snowmen on it.
She did not take her cell phone and school laptop with her. She is considered an at-risk juvenile due to suffering from multiple medical conditions and has a history of running away.
The Lyon County Sheriff’s Office is asking people who have any information about her whereabouts please contact LCSO Dispatch at 775-463-6620.
