Lyda Hunter

Lyda Charlene Hunter, 77 of Ivel, KY, passed away August 31, 2025 at the Greg and Noreen Wells Hospice Center, Hazard, KY. Born February 9, 1948 in Wonder, KY, Lyda was the daughter of the late Denver & Inez Burchett Collins. She was preceded in death by her husband, Tony Hunter. Lyda was a homemaker and a member of the Cow Creek Freewill Baptist Church. Lyda is survived by her sister: Judy (John) Rose of Ivel, KY. In addition to her parents, Lyda was preceded in death by two brothers: Larry Dean Collins & Randall Lee Collins. Lyda will be missed by all that knew and loved her.
