Linnea Markland Judah

The family of Linnea Danielle Markland Judah of Elizabethton, Tennessee is saddened to announce her passing on August 6th, 2025. Linnea was born in Elizabethton to Leslie Markland and the late Ladonna Webb Markland. The Markland family of Elizabethton also laid Dula Winters Markland Hensley to rest in early spring.

Linnea received her masters degree of accounting from Georgia Southern University. She was a director of technical accounting and in the profession for over 25 years. Linnea was logical and loving, a woman of strength and principle who spoke with kindness and practicality in equal measure. Linnea was an empathetic friend, daughter, wife and mother- she was loved by all who knew her. Linnea’s intelligence, strength, courage, love, and drive for life are simply insufficient in describing the beautiful person she was. She loved her children immensely and enjoyed traveling, nature, art, flowers, collecting vintage glassware, the lake, and the ocean. She had a spirit of adventure she shared with her family and friends.

Those left to cherish and remember Linnea include her husband Joshua Judah, her daughter Kaeli and son Jaxon, her father Leslie Markland, the Markland family of Elizabethton, and the Judah family of Georgia. Linnea forged many friendships in Georgia that became family, and she will be missed dearly by all. It was Linnea’s wish to be cremated without formal services. Words simply cannot encompass the deep sorrow we all feel from her loss. Please respect the privacy of the family as they mourn.
