Linda Smith

Linda May Smith, age 74, of Manchester, TN, passed from this life Wednesday, September 24, 2025, at Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville, TN.

Mrs. Linda Smith was born in Springfield, TN to her late parents Malcom E. Boyer and Margaret Neal Brooksher Boyer. She retired from MTEK after 25 dedicated years. Linda had many hobbies she enjoyed including traveling, camping, fishing, gardening, needle-point, cooking, and baking. Linda had many pets she was fond of but especially close to her neighbor’s dog “Buddy” – Linda enjoyed life to the fullest especially with her beloved husband, children, grandchildren, family and friends. She always had a smile and could light up a room with her kind presence. Linda never met a stranger. She loved everyone. Linda was an amazing loving dedicated wife who loved her husband unconditionally. An endless love story of amazing couple.

Mrs. Linda Smith is survived by her husband of 46 years, Charles Smith; son, Tim Smith (Felicia); daughters, Shelly Dillard (Bob) and Kelley Steenbergen; brother, Charles (Kathy) Boyer; sister, Sue Boyer; grandchildren, Zach Smith (Amie), Aeron Westbrook (Aaron), Tori Maguire (Will), Bobby Dillard (Rae), Chanler Lawson (Riley), and Zoe Ezell (Tyler); great grandchildren, Colton and Ava Smith, Leni and Sadie Katie Westbrook; nieces, Amy Boyer Walker, Amanda Norton; nephew, Chuck Boyer.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, September 30, 2025, from 12:00pm until 2:00pm with funeral services following at 2:00pm in the chapel of Central Funeral Home in Manchester, TN. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens in Tullahoma, TN.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Saint Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
