Linda Jean Robenolt, 66, of Lewisberry, passed away on Saturday, February 1, 2025 at home surrounded by her loving family.
Linda was strong-willed, determined and, truly embodied living life to its fullest.
She was born on March 31, 1958 in Pittsburgh, PA to the late William and Antionette (Berini) Collins. She was a 1976 graduate of Red Land High School. Linda was a claims auditor for Capital Blue Cross and retired after 30+ years with them. Her coworkers cherished her dependability and kindness, and she developed lifelong friendships with many of them.
She loved spending the winters at her beach home in Bradenton, Florida. She spent many hours exploring the beaches on Anna Maria Island and surrounding areas. Collecting shark’s teeth, sand dollars, sea glass and seashells was her passion. She enjoyed creating pieces of art from the treasures she collected. She also enjoyed fishing and boating on the Intercoastal Waterway in Florida. If there was something to do outdoors Linda was all in. Linda was an avid Philadelphia sports fan and enjoyed watching the Phillies and the Eagles (GO BIRDS!). She attended many games in Philly as well as Atlanta, Miami, Arizona, Washington D.C., and Tampa. Traveling with friends and family was an important part of Linda’s life. She and Dave traveled to Alaska several times to go salmon fishing, cruising and sightseeing. Some of her favorite places they traveled to were Aruba, Cayman Islands, Las Vegas, Nashville and Hawaii.
Above all else Linda enjoyed spending as much time as possible with her 10 grandchildren; Kayla Gee (23), Kennedy Gee (15), Henry Semuta (12), Annabelle Gray (11) , Morgan Semuta (9), Everly Gray (8), Caroline Gee (6), Anderson Gray (5), Hunter Gee (4), Adalyn Gee (2) and her 2 great grandchildren: Liam (6) and Aubrey (1). Grandma Linda was a big part of their lives and loved taking them on various adventures like camping, shell collecting, or sitting inside with Rummikub while watching it rain. She was always there for them and was always up for a babysitting assignment. She enjoyed helping them with homework, reading, playing ball, air hockey or arcade games with them.
Surviving is her loving & devoted husband, David A. Robenolt. Linda and Dave would have celebrated their 31st wedding anniversary on February 14th.
4 children; Jeffrey S. Gee of San Antonio, TX, Brian J. Gee and his wife, Michelle of Fairfax Station, VA; Jaime L. Gray and her husband, Brandon of Philadelphia, Katie L. Semuta and her husband, Jeff of Lemoyne, a brother, William J. Collins and his wife, Noreen of Manchester, a sister, Maureen P. Blose and partner, JoAnn Zurowski of Lewisberry.
Linda cherished her 4 children from her blended family and was an example to everyone. Linda always put others first and was an amazing friend, sister, mother, grandmother & wife. Her kindness, positive attitude and willingness to help everyone will be greatly missed.
A celebration of Linda’s life will be held at 5:00 P.M. on Thursday, February 13, 2025 at the Susquehanna Club located at the New Cumberland Army Depot.
Visitation will be from 4:00 P.M. until 5:00 P.M. on Thursday at the Susquehanna Club.
Directions for the Susquehanna Club, Defense Logistics Agency end of Ross Avenue in New Cumberland (this address will almost get you to the DLA, proceed to end of Ross Avenue). Once passing the guard shack, the Susquehanna Club is the big red barn on the left side of the road.
Arrangements are under the care of the Neumyer Funeral Home, 1334 North Second Street, Harrisburg, PA 17102.
