Linda Lou Wilmoth Kose, 80, of Barrackville, passed away on Sunday, April 20, 2025, at the United Hospital Center in Bridgeport. She was born in Haywood, November 8, 1944, a daughter of the late James E. and Beulah L. Williams Wilmoth. On February 8, 1968, she married Joseph E. Kose who preceded her in death on November 6, 2021.
Surviving are one son, Joseph Scott Kose and his wife Sherry Lynn, Manassas, VA; two grandchildren, Carson Joseph Kose and Cooper Thomas Kose; one sister, Rita Jacobin and her husband Bob, Idamay; a brother, James Ray Wilmoth, Fairmont; brother-in-law, Ray Long; three sisters-in-law, Patricia Tekieli, Morgantown, Carolyn Pasco, Farmington, Nick Kose, Rachel; and several nieces and nephews.
Linda was also preceded in death by her siblings: Cherie Long, Charlotte Martin, Betha Tarley, and Viola Wilmoth.
Linda retired from ALCAN in Fairmont. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Fairmont. Linda loved to go camping with her family and was an avid bowler. She always enjoyed watching her grandsons play baseball and her son coach. She was very proud of her family.
A private visitation will be held for the family where they will wear their favorite sports attire in her honor. Condolences may be extended to the family at www.hutsonfuneralhomes.com.
