Linda Flynn passed away peacefully at home with her family September 2, 2025.Linda was born April 24,1947 in Perry, Iowa, The daughter of Gwen and Henry Knigge. She spent her childhood and school years in Cedar Rapids, Iowa and moved to Colorado after her marriage to Bill Flynn in 1971.
Linda was a decision Review Officer for the Department of Veteran Affairs, helping Veterans in their appeals of medical related decisions. She took great interest in the people she helped and diligently advocated on their behalf during her 25 years of service.
Linda was proceeded in death by her parents, her daughter Cari, her sister Lois McAtee and brother Jim Knigge.
She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Bill, her grandchildren: Dylan Feldmann, Ft Dodge,IA, Quinn (Laura) Feldmann, Mesa, AZ, Ethan Feldmann, North Liberty, IA and daughter Alyson Feldmann, Longmont, CO and her great grand daughter, Wednesday, Alyson’. daughter. She is also survived by a nephew and many nieces.
Linda loved animals, especially horses, a passion she shared with her daughter Cari. They spent hours riding and going to horse shows, and always looking forward to the annual stock show in Denver. Linda spent may hours in retirement riding her horse and walking her good friends Max(standard schnauzer), Gwennie (standard poodle) Annabel (standard poodle) and her current dog pal Lily (many).
Linda was a caring and loving person, very nurturing and protective of those loved. Her life was a gift to all who new her and she will greatly missed.
