Linda Denny

Linda Kay Johnston Denny, age 82, entered eternal rest on Friday, September 19, 2025, in Alexandria at Christus St. Frances Cabrini Hospital.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. in Alexandria at Jackson Street Church of Christ with Bro. Larry Pasley officiating.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ollen Johnston and Edna Sivage Johnston; siblings, Harry Johnston, Sue Miller, Jean King; brothers-in-law, Joe Miller and DW King; and sister-in-law, Nancy Johnston.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of 57 years, Ed Denny; twin daughters, Carol and Cheryl Denny; sisters, Bonnie Koger, Jessie Roper (Don), and Tommy Johnston (Carolyn); grandchildren, Jena McJunkins, Taren Denny, and Alexis Denny; great grandchildren, Ariah Caston, Faylinn Mathews, and Rory Mathews.

Linda was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. She was enjoyed travelling to different craft shows, where she and her husband sold the jewelry that they made. Linda was a good military wife, following Mr. Ed wherever the military took them and supported him without fail. She was a faithful Church of Christ Member and she will forever be missed by those that loved and knew her.
