Leslie Carter

Leslie Leonard Carter, 72, of Texarkana, passed away Monday, September 1, 2025 at Hospice of Texarkana / Hospice of Hope. He was born September 6, 1952 in Desha County to the late Wayne and Bertha Cherry Carter. Leslie retired from his own concrete business, and he loved to hunt and fish.

Also preceding him in death were his wife, Cindy Coy Carter and one brother, Willard Carter.

Survivors include one son, Brannon (Robin) Carter of South Caroline, two daughters, Amanda (Joe) Dalby of Texarkana, Texas, and Allisha (Jake) Brooks of Texarkana, Arkansas, Also survived by two brothers, Mike Carter and John Carter, and three sisters, Martha Holloway, Mary Simmons, and Cathy Bates, grandchildren, Lucas and Leia Murphy, and one step grandson, Tukota Brooks, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation is Friday, September 5, 2025 from 3-5pm at Griffin Funeral Service in Star City. There will be no formal funeral services.
