LaTosha Renee Hill (Johnson), age 48, embraced life with a spirited joy that touched everyone around her. She passed away unexpectedly but peacefully on June 9, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love and laughter. A cherished wife, devoted mother, adoring grandmother, and beloved daughter, sister, cousin, and friend, LaTosha’s departure has left an indelible mark on the hearts of all who knew her.

Born on June 13, 1976, in Clarksdale, MS, to the late Bobbye (Johnson) George and Will Johnson, LaTosha brightened every room with her radiant smile and infectious spirit. A proud graduate of Middle College in Memphis, TN, she navigated life with feistiness and a wonderful sense of humor, always ready with a joke to lift others’ spirits.

LaTosha is survived by her loving husband of 12 years, James Hill. She leaves behind her beloved children: Kedra Lashun Johnson (preceded in death), Keeley Pershun Williams Jr., Kurt Carlton Fleming Jr., and Briana Alexis Dunbar, as well as her step-father, Charles Taylor, Sr. (Goldie), her cherished stepdaughters, Julia C. Hill and Kendall Y. Hill. Her grandchildren—Keeley Williams III, Karlmelo Williams, Raelyn Williams, and Khali Williams—were the light of her life, and she adored them deeply.

Her family ties extended to her siblings, Alexis Griggs (Lemmie Griggs), LaPamela Overstreet, Charles Taylor Jr., Cashara Johnson, and Darrin “Peewee” Johnson, along with her sister-in-law Allison M. Chism. Latosha’s love also encompassed her nieces and nephews: Reco Hamer (Ashley), Cameron Johnson, Coby Taylor, Chase Taylor, Kelvin Johnson, and Lashundra Overstreet, as well as a host of cousins and extended family who held a special place in her heart.

Though she may no longer be with us in body, LaTosha’s vibrant spirit will forever remain alive in our memories and in the love she shared with all of us. Your memory will live on forever in our hearts and our homes, reminding us to cherish each moment and to always find joy and laughter in life.
