Larry Boeckman

Larry Anthony Boeckman, 65, of Wardsville, Missouri, passed away on Friday, October 17, 2025. He was born on January 28, 1960, the son of the late Lawrence and Emma (Kirkweg) Boeckman.

In his younger years Larry attended the St. Stanislaus Elementary School. He then went on to graduate from Blair Oaks High School in 1978. Known to many as “Larry the Tire Guy,” he proudly owned and operated his own tire sales and repair shop. In addition to his business, Larry maintained a herd of 200 cattle and operated LNK Vending.

A true nature enthusiast, Larry enjoyed the simple pleasures of country life — riding around the farm on his tractor, fishing, golfing, and taking trips to the races with friends. He cherished time spent in the man cave, where laughter and good company were always welcome. Above all, he loved his family deeply and shared a special bond with his loyal sidekick, Sam. Strong in his love of Christ, Larry was a member of the St. Stanislaus Catholic Church. He was also a Third Degree member of the Knights of Columbus.

Larry is survived by his loving wife, Charlotte; mother-in-law, Martha Jeagers; stepchildren, Clayton Smith (Jennifer), Ryan Smith (Ashley), and Shantel Dooling (Jerry Jr.); brother, Jerome Boeckman; sisters, Marlene Matthews, Charlene Rowles, and Imogene Forck (Gerard); grandchildren, Madison Smith, Macey Smith, Clayton Smith Jr., Avery Smith, Ellie Smith, Landry Smith, Finleigh Dooling, and Murphy Dooling; and in-laws, Debbie Niederhelm, Janet Haslag (Mike), Charlene Eisterhold (Rob), Doris Keilholz (Bernell), Dale Jaegers (Robin), Keith Jaegers (Debbie), and Kenny Jaegers (Janelle).

He was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Joseph “Bud” Jaegers,  brothers-in-law, Dale Rowles, Jim Matthews, and Mike Niederhelm, as well as his faithful companion and best friend, Sam.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, October 24, 2025, at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Wardsville, officiated by Msgr. David Cox. Burial will follow in the St. Stanislaus Catholic Cemetery. A Celebration of Life will follow the burial at the Wardsville-Osage Bend Community Center.

In Lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to an organization of the donor’s choice.
