Kristi Sue Kropelnicki, 57, of Littleton, Colorado, passed away on July 15, 2025.
A devoted wife, a mother and a hero to many, Kristi’s life was a constant act of compassion. Known for opening both her home and heart to anyone in need, she built a legacy rooted in service, selflessness, and unwavering love. Whether caring for people or animals, organizing charity work, or blasting music while dancing in the living room, Kristi poured herself fully into everything and everyone around her.
She is survived by her husband, Daniel Walters, and her children: Nicholas (Gina), Regina (Matt), Briana (Brian), Justeen (Nick), Branden (Melissa), Garrett (Mariah), and Emily (Justin). She’s also survived by her grandchildren: Miranda, Brigham, Audrey, Ashton, Brayden, Eleanor, Daxton, Allison, Weston, and Royce, and a sea of faces who proudly called her “Mama.”
She is preceded in death by her son Matthew, her parents Alice and Harold, and her siblings Gailen, Wendi, and George.
Kristi will be remembered for her vibrant spirit, fierce loyalty, her love for halloween shenanigans and the kind of love that made anyone feel like family. Her presence filled a room, and her absence leaves a silence that could never be replaced.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, July 25th, 2025 at 10am at Rundus Funeral Home and Crematory, 1998 W 10th Ave, Broomfield, CO 80020
