Kevin Malm

Kevin Dean Malm, 64, of Lindsborg passed away on January 25, 2025. Kevin was born on July 23, 1960 in Lindsborg, KS to Virgil “Dean” and Shirley (Harper) Malm.

Kevin worked as a machinist, welder, and mechanic. He was a member of Bethany Lutheran Church and a former Swedish Dancer.

Kevin is survived by his mother: Shirley Malm of Lindsborg; daughters: Laynette Rowson (Stephen), of Jacksonville, FL and Carrie Ellis of Lindsborg; brother: Harper Malm (Kathy) of Lindsborg; grandchildren: Shian (Andrew), Caleb, Logann (Caleb), Kaylyn, and Makenah; and great-grandchildren: Leo, Veronica, Blair, Adriano, and Kylo.

He was preceded in death by his father: Virgil “Dean” Malm (Father) and sister: Jae Lea Malm.

Kevin enjoyed the wind in his hair (and beard!). He was an avid biker, a hobby that he shared with his father. Most photos of Kevin included his always-present bandana, likely adorned with a Harley Davidson logo.

A memorial service will be held 10:30 a.m., Saturday, February 8, 2025 at Crick-Christians Funeral Home, 103 N. Washington, Lindsborg.
