In his free time, Kerry enjoyed kayaking, boating, gardening, yard work, camping, and home projects. He even liked to drag race in his earlier years. He thrived on just being outdoors. He loved the time he spent with his family and dogs. He was very generous and selfless when it came to his family and friends.
