Kenneth Wayne Schroeder, 67, of China Spring, passed away Wednesday, November 5, 2025 at his residence surrounded by his family.

Visitation: 6 to 8PM Monday, November 10 at Lake Shore Funeral Home

Funeral Services: 10AM Tuesday, November 11 at Lake Shore Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at China Spring Cemetery.

Wayne was born May 2, 1958 in Columbus, GA to Eldon and Kathrine Schroeder. Wayne attended public school in many places as his father was in the Military. He graduated from China Spring High School in 1976, and then attended TSTC, studying computer programming. His first job was at the Piggly Wiggly in Waco; and after college, he worked for JP Zachary before starting his career at Texas Farm Bureau, retiring in 2022 after 32 years to enjoy traveling with the love of his life.

Wayne was preceded in death by his mother, Kathrine Stone Schroeder; and several aunts and uncles.

Wayne is survived by the love of his life, Jo Anna Moore, and daughter Brooke Moore; father, Eldon Kenneth Schroeder; brother, Randy Schroeder and wife Marsha; and sister, Linda Smith, all of China Spring. Also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
