Julia Rosario
- March 25, 2025

Julia Maria Roman Rosario.
Born Feb. 20, 1956, in Naguabo, Puerto Rico.
Daughter to Maria Cristina Rosario and Solis Roman. She took her last breath in Chicago, Ill. on March 21, 2025, at the age of 69 surrounded by her four daughters and family.
Julia came to Chicago as a child and made it her home. She loved watching cartoons and listening to music. Her favorite shows were Cops, Chips, and Star Trek. Her favorite songs were Unbreak My Heart and Killing Me Softly. Her favorite flower was carnations like her mom. She loved all animals especially dogs. She was a big foodie she loved her meat. She also loved her sweets. Her favorite candy was Baby Ruth, Sugar Daddy’s, and Boston Baked Beans.
Julia fought cancer for 5 years, was strong and didn’t want to give up. She was our warrior queen. She wasn’t perfect by far, but she made it work as a single mother of four. She was strong, independent, confident with a splash of fierce. She wasn’t backing down. She taught us how to fight and never give up.
Julia’s greatest accomplishments are her daughters. Whom because of her grew up to be resilient, confident, caring women.
We thank her for giving us life. We will take every lesson she taught us and carry her in our hearts forever. There will always be an empty hole in our hearts but “Momma your job is done”. “You can rest now and watch how we move because of you”. She is survived by her daughters Melissa Rosario Rivera, Yahaira Rosario, Katiria Santiago, Jantel Santiago. 14 grandkids and a great grand baby.
Till we meet again Mom. We Love You.
