JUDITH KAY ROSS “JUDY”, 73 of Daggett, MI passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on Thursday July 10, 2025. Judith Kay Hoglund was born on July 21, 1951 in Daggett to the late Arthur and Esther (Gustafson) Hoglund. On September 18, 1971, Judy married Max Ross at the Carney Evangelical Free Church.
Judy enjoyed gardening, bird watching, playing cards, flowers, raising her kids and welcoming each grandchild into her family. She also found joy in sewing and making blankets for her grandchildren. As Judy grew older, she enjoyed trips to the casino and was excited to win a few nice jackpots. She would spend the money planning a trip on a river boat down the Mississippi with family as a family trip.
Judy is survived by her husband: Max; daughters: Amy (Brian) Bretl and Karen (John) Jasper; twin sons: Matthew and Michael (Brenda) Ross; grandchildren: Brooke (Matthew) Berger, Lexi Bretl, Trey Bretl, Addison Ross, Austin Ross, Kora Ross and Ayden Ross; great grandson: Grayson Berger; and many in laws, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday July 16, 2025 at Anderson Diehm Funeral Home from 2:00 pm until time of Funeral Service at 5:00 pm. Burial will follow in Central Baptist Cemetery. Immediately following the burial, a luncheon will be served at Belgiumtown Restaurant.
