Lancaster-Judith “Judy” Collins of Lancaster, passed away Tuesday, August 12, 2025 surrounded by her loving family. Born on May 29, 1941 in Clinton, to the late Merle and Esther (Walsh) Mitton, she graduated from Clinton High School, Class of 1959 and retired from Nypro after 20 years.

She leaves her devoted husband of 64 years, Richard Collins; a son, David Collins; a daughter, Deborah Adams and her husband Donald; sister, Shirley Hendrickson; grandchildren: Benjamin Adams and his wife Kaley Fawcett; and Camille Adams and her partner Jon Rulloda as well as several beloved nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by brothers: William, James, and Thomas Mitton, and sisters: Joan Corbosiero, Joyce Haley, Janet Davitt and Nancy Jarvis.

Judy enjoyed spending time with her immediate and extended family, especially the many summer cook-outs and holiday parties. She enjoyed bowling and was a member of a championship women’s league prior to her retirement. She loved movies and always managed to be the first to obtain new releases prior to the advent of streaming. Judy also loved visiting the beach, growing spectacular morning glories every year, and keeping up with and mastering the latest technology.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, August 20, 2025 from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM followed by the funeral service at 11:00 AM at Philbin-Comeau Funeral Home, 176 Water Street, Clinton. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery, 2 Woodlawn Street, Clinton.
