Joshua Clay Dickey 36, of Pine Bluff passed away Tuesday, July 22, 2025. Joshua was born March 20, 1989 in Pine Bluff to John and Deana Jones Dickey. He liked hunting, fishing, baseball, football, and basketball. Joshua loved watching his son play ball. Joshua volunteered as part of the chain gang for Woodlawn Schools. Joshua was a Sargent with the Arkansas Department of Corrections where he has worked for the last eighteen years, he was also of the Baptist faith. Most importantly he was a beloved husband to Tasha and father to John Clay.
Preceding him in death is a paternal grandfather Chester Dickey and one brother-in-law Timothy Braden.
Other survivors include his loving wife, Tasha Braden Dickey of Pine Bluff, son, John Clay Dickey of Pine Bluff, brother, Jonathan Dickey (Carolann) of Redfield, sister, Jessica Dickey Long (Javan) of Hamburg, paternal grandparents, Ronnie and Louise Willis Griffin of Woodlawn, maternal grandparents, Ray and Mary Jones of Star City, and many extended family and friends.
Visitation is 9:00am to 11:00am Wednesday, July 30, 2025 at Griffin Funeral Service in Star City. Funeral services will follow at 11:00am in the Griffin Funeral Chapel, with Bro. Daryl Graydon and Bro. Michael Powell will officiate. Burial will follow at Shady Grove Cemetery. Pallbearers are Tony Boykin, Kevin King, Keith Taylor, Jonathan Dickey, Chris VanDuren, Ellis Hopper, Javan Long, T.J. Brown and Jeff Smith. Honorary pallbearer is John Braden.
