Josephine Wilson

Giusepina Desario was born April 28 1929 in Naples Italy. Lived through World War II as a young girl and into her teen years. Met an American man, got married and moved to New York in 1951 where she lived in Brooklyn for 8 years and then moved to Staten Island. For some reason we moved briefly to Houston Texas. Then back to Stamford Connecticut. Shortly after we moved down to Jacksonville Florida. Mom lived there for the rest of her life. 62 years. She became friends with a small tight knit group of Italian women. They got together for elaborate meals and dancing at the Italian American club. She loved going on cruises and traveling back to her native Italy. Mom loved to cook but mostly loved her family. She is the most unselfish loving person I have ever known. She loved life and lived it the way she wanted for as long as she could. She will be missed every day more than any of us could have imagined. I am thankful that her life was complete with so much happiness. She handled the tough situations with grace and compassion. I will never know anyone quite like her again.
