Joseph Hayducky

joseph A. Hayducky, age 89, of Stratford passed away on August 23, 2025. Joe was born in Bridgeport on November 5, 1935 to Joseph S. and Margaret Blozzon Hayducky and has been a life long area resident, graduating from Harding High School in 1953. After high school he studied architectural drafting as well as earning licenses in insurance and real estate sales. Upon his discharge from the Army, he joined the management staff at Stop and Shop where he worked for 36 years and held many management positions. Always creative and never idle he found time to paint pictures, and even make furniture. Eventually he moved to Oronoque Village wher he enjoyed the activities and participating in social events.

Joe was predeceased by his first wife, Barbara. He is survived by his wife Marcia, his sister Peggy and brother in law John Antonini as well as his niece Cindy (Geno), his three nephews John (Mary), Christopher (Gretchen), and Gregory (Diana) and a great-nephew and three great-nieces. Services were held at St. James Church, Stratford and interment at St. Michael’s Cemetery.
