Johnny Colliver

Johnny Colliver, a deeply loved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Sunday, April13th, 2025 at the age of 89.

 Born in the mountains of Montrose, Colorado, he was an artist that lived a life filled with love, compassion, and an unwavering dedication to his family.To know Johnny was to love him. His laughter was contagious, his kindness unshakable, and his ability to bring people together with his unique sense of humor will always be remembered! Whether it was family gatherings, celebrations, or unexpected moments of connection, he made it unforgettable simply by being him.

Johnny is survived by the love of his life, Carol Colliver. Also by his children: Johnny Colliver Jr., Joy Colliver, Jamie (Stoll) Colliver and Jesse Colliver; his grandchildren: Ricky, Johnny, Samantha, Amethyst, JJ, Nikki, Fawn, Zack, Shianne, Lexi and Josh; followed by eleven current great grandchildren. His legacy lives on in the stories we’ll re-tell, the laughter we’ll ALWAYS hear in our heads, and the love we carry in our hearts.

A private memorial service will be held by the family to celebrate Johnny’s life. In lieu of flowers or outreach, the family invites you to honor his memory by holding your loved ones close — and sharing a laugh or two, just as he would have wanted.
