John Weiler
- June 29, 2025

John P. “Jack” Weiler, a lifelong resident of the Pittsburgh area, passed away peacefully at his home in West View on June 27, 2025, at the age of 71. Born in Pittsburgh on February 17, 1954, he was the beloved son of the late Nicholas and Esther (Frank) Weiler.
Jack retired from maintenance at Greater Works School in Monroeville. He was known for his gentle demeanor, but once you got to know him, he loved to talk for hours, especially sharing stories of Native American folklore. Jack enjoyed visiting flea markets and had a deep passion for animals, particularly cats. He worked incredibly hard and never let anything slow him down, excelling in everything he pursued.
Jack is survived by his loving siblings, Patricia (Wally) Salac, Carol (Sam) Witsch, and Charles Weiler, as well as many cherished nieces and nephews.
