John Siracusa
John Martin Siracusa, age 67, of Festus, Missouri, passed away Friday, September 19, 2025, at Mercy South Hospital in St. Louis County, Missouri. He was born September 13, 1958, in Festus, the son of the late Katherine (nee Stevens) and Leo Siracusa.
He is survived by his wife, Denise (nee Grimes) Siracusa; son John Robert “JR” (Megan) Siracusa of Barnhart, Missouri; daughters Samantha (Nathan) Reese of Festus and Linley (Brendan) Barash of Webster Groves, Missouri; stepdaughters Chelsea (David) Cope of Imperial and Jessica (Michael) Scott of Fredericktown; brother Steven C. (Pat) Siracusa of Herculaneum, Missouri; lifelong friend who was like a brother, Greg (Janetta) McCreary of Festus, Missouri; and grandchildren Madelyn, Logan, Karter, Zoey, Nash, Brinkley, Laiken, Kylie, Kaydence, Michelle, Charlie, and Ronnie.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister Patricia K. Breeze (Kurt survives of Bend, Oregon).
A 1976 graduate of Crystal City High School, John was a 45-year financial advisor for Equitable Advisors in St. Louis and a 41-year member and past exalted ruler of Elks Lodge #1721. An avid outdoorsman and proud member of the Sporting Gentlemen, John was also a lifelong lover of music, which brought him joy throughout his life.
Visitation will be from 2:00 P.M. until the time of funeral services at 6:00 P.M. Friday, September 26, 2025, at Vinyard Funeral Home in Festus. Private interment in Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens in Crystal City, Missouri.
Memorials in John’s memory are preferred to the Elks National Foundation.
