John Mouracade

John A. Mouracade, a longtime resident of Mamaroneck, passed away peacefully on September 13, 2025, at the age of 88. Born in Brooklyn on April 10, 1937, he was the beloved son of Abraham and Julie Mouracade.

John was a proud graduate of Power Memorial High School and Iona College. He was the dedicated proprietor of Findlay Moving and Storage, an international moving company, which he led with integrity and passion for over fifty years. His life was marked by a deep commitment to family and work—values that shaped his legacy.

John will be remembered for his kindness, generosity, and philanthropic spirit. He is survived by his devoted wife, Patricia (Glennon), and his loving caregiver, Oona Cargill. He was the cherished father of Michael Mouracade (Meire), Dorothea Tomczyk, and Gregory Mouracade (Valerie), and a proud grandfather to Gabriel, Emily, Timothy, Isabella, Phillip, and Kenalei.

He is also survived by his dear brothers, Michael and Alexander. He was predeceased by his siblings George, Robert, Simon, and Yolanda.

Family and friends are invited to honor John’s life on Thursday, from 4–8 PM, at Coxe & Graziano Funeral Home, 767 E. Boston Post Road, Mamaroneck, NY, 914-698-5968. A traditional Orthodox Mass will be celebrated on Friday at 11 AM at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church in New Rochelle.
