John Hubbard
John William Hubbard, beloved son of Faye Turner, passed away Wednesday, September 24, 2025, in Frankfort, Kentucky. John was born November 13, 1977, to Faye Turner and the late William Hubbard in Georgetown, Kentucky. John had a deep love for animals and the outdoors, often happiest with his feet bare in nature or a fishing pole in hand. He was known for sharing fascinating facts about wildlife, and for his remarkable ability to fix just about anything. John’s kind and loving spirit touched the lives of all who knew him. He was a devoted son, brother, partner, and father, and his passion for history and strong commitment to family will always be remembered.
Besides his mother, he will be lovingly remembered by his long-time partner of eleven years, Amanda Chicarelli, his daughter, Lauren (Nick) Thomas, his brother, Kevin Hubbard, his sister, Brittany (Jose) Casado, his three nephews: John, Austin and Andrew, and his two nieces, Neva and Aubrey. He will forever be loved and missed by his fur babies, Dolly Parton and Judge Judy.
John was proceeded in his passing by his father, William Hubbard.
A memorial visitation will be held on Monday, October 6, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Tucker, Yocum & Wilson Funeral Home. Following will be the memorial service at 7:00 PM.
In Lieu of Flowers, the family requests for donations to be made to the Scott County Humane Society.
