Jodee Billings
Jodee Leigh Billings, 42, of Springfield, IL, passed away on Thursday, November 20, 2025. She was born August 13, 1983 in Springfield, the daughter of the late Gary Wells and Tammy (Lutzow) Blakeman. She married Donald Billings on September 10, 2010.
Jodee is survived by her husband, Donald Billings; two children, Jasmin Rutherford and Alan Billings both of Springfield; mother and stepfather, Tammy and Jerry Blakeman of Springfield; two brothers, Jeffrey (Brandy) Wells of Springfield and Tony (Jackie) Blakeman of Springfield. She is also survived by several aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews and several in-laws.
Jodee was a 2001 graduate of Lanphier High School. She worked at Murphy’s USA and lived in Springfield her entire life. She loved kids. She liked joking and playing games. She had a heart of gold.
A Celebration of Jodee’s Life will be held Saturday, January 17, 2025 from 12:00 pm – 3:00 pm at the Grandview Municipal Building. The family is asking everyone to bring a gift for a child 0 to 12 years of age. They will be donating these gifts to St. John’s Children Cancer Ward.
Jodee will be missed by all.
