Joan Stewart

Joan Ann Stewart, 80, widow of Donald Allen Stewart, Sr., passed away on Friday, August 8, 2025, at Saint Joseph Hospital in Mount Sterling, Kentucky. Born on October 30, 1944, she was the daughter of the late Lucian and Margaret Waller. She retired from Vaughn Tobacco Company, where she worked as a bookkeeper.

She is survived by her granddaughter, Maggie Stewart; daughter-in-law, Katharine Stewart; cousin, Wanda (Roy) Wood; sister-in-law, Sue Reese; niece, Kim Davis; and nephew, Billy Reese.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Donald Allen Stewart, Jr.

In keeping with her wishes, Joan will be cremated. A memorial service will be held on Friday, August 15, 2025 at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Lexington, Kentucky at 1:00PM.
