Jen spent her early childhood in Georgia until the age of 12, when her family relocated to Pensacola, Florida. She attended Gulf Breeze High School before enrolling at the Brownsville School of Ministry. During that time, she had the opportunity to go on a mission trip to Japan. Later, Jennifer pursued a career in healthcare by attending nursing school. She had a passion for cooking and loved experimenting with new dishes. In her free time, she enjoyed crocheting afghan blankets and reading novels.
Jennifer had a great sense of humor and loved making people laugh—her infectious laughter could light up any room. She had a passion for taking care of others, that led her into becoming a nurse where she was loving and dedicated to providing good care for her patients. Above everything, Jenn loved being a mom. Her children were her favorite accomplishments.
Jennifer courageously fought breast cancer for several years. From the moment of diagnosis, she faced each challenge-every treatment, test, and setback with courage that inspired those around her. Her days were marked not only by medical appointments but also by moments of fierce determination, where she chose laughter, love, and hope in the face of fear and fatigue. Though the illness took its toll on her body, it never dimmed her spirit. Her fight was not just for survival, but for meaning, connection, and the beauty in everyday moments.
She lived not defined by cancer, but by her response to it—bold, compassionate, and full of grace.
Jen was well loved by everyone and will be dearly missed.
