Jeffrey Paes

Jeffrey Alan Paes, age 66, of Dunwoody, Georgia passed away on Tuesday September 30, 2025.

Jeff was preceded in death by his father Charles and his mother Gay. He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Kathy (Justus) Paes, brother Bill and sister Pat, nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, family and friends.

Jeff was a Software Quality Director with OpenText before retirement in 2021. Jeff graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Management Operations Systems degree from the University of Tennessee in 1990. He grew up in Maryville, Tennessee and attended Maryville High School.

Jeff was an avid sailor and member of the Barefoot Sailing Club at Lake Lanier. He enjoyed cooking, woodworking, and traveling, especially to the Caribbean. He was well known by family and friends for the delicious peanut butter candy he made at Christmas.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the National Kidney Foundation.
