Jeffrey Olson

Jeffrey “Jeff” Olson, age 70, of Faribault, died on Sunday, May 25, 2025, at the Mayo Clinic Hospital – Methodist Campus, Rochester.

Services will be held at a later date and announced by Boldt Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Faribault.

Jeffrey Allen, the son of Chester and Edna (Pederson) Olson, was born October 28, 1954, in Morris. Jeff graduated from high school in Morris and went to Vo-Tech in Willmar. He worked various jobs before moving to Faribault and where he worked for many years at Dave’s Electronics; he also worked at Ace Hardware and Faribault Foods. He enjoyed spending time with his friends and grilling. You could often find him visiting with people at the store. Above all, Jeff loved his children.

Survivors include his two children, Ryan Olson and Ashley Olson both of Faribault; grandchildren, Dominick Olson and Jakobi Olson both of New Ulm and Jayden Kral of Faribault; siblings, Jaunita Swartwoudt, Sharon (Ray) Hallett, Carolyn (Robert) Brummond and Clinton Olson; stepmother, Virene Olson; nieces, other relatives and friends.

Jeff was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Elda Carol Best and brother-in-law, Lloyd Swartwoudt.
